§ 02 — Abstract
A copper tripeptide closely related to GHK-Cu, with a preferential affinity for hair follicle dermal papilla cells. Used in topical hair-regrowth formulations.
AHK-Cu binds copper with higher affinity than GHK-Cu and localises in dermal papilla cells at the base of hair follicles. Stimulates VEGF and follicular stem-cell activation without the systemic effects of GHK-Cu.
