A placental glycoprotein hormone used clinically for fertility and hypogonadism. Widely used off-label for testicular support during and after TRT.
hCG mimics luteinizing hormone (LH) and stimulates Leydig cells in the testes to produce testosterone and maintain testicular volume. Also used to induce ovulation in fertility protocols.
