A growth-hormone-releasing hexapeptide with potency higher than GHRP-6 but a tendency toward receptor desensitisation in long cycles.
Hexarelin is a ghrelin receptor agonist that drives pulsatile GH release from the pituitary. It also has direct cardioprotective effects independent of GH, acting on the CD36 receptor in cardiac tissue.
