A modified insulin-like growth factor 1 with extended half-life — the direct-acting growth factor downstream of HGH, favoured for its potency and tissue-specific action.
IGF-1 LR3 is IGF-1 with an arginine substitution and 13-amino-acid N-terminal extension, reducing binding to IGFBPs and extending bioactive half-life to ~20 hours. Drives myocyte proliferation and differentiation via IGF-1R.
